MoreOur all-natural flavors are preserved wih sobic acid, an organic preservative that mkes the flavors (called“pastes”) taste sour in their container but the acid reacts with the sugars in the fruits to make natural fructose, a sweetener. The sorbic acid prevents deterioration and the bucket does not need refrigeration after opening.
All of the tropical flavors are made from local Thai fruit and the temperate climate flavors are made in our factory in Bari, Italy.
The fruits are cooked at very low temperaures for hours, to protect their delicate flavors. The pistachios come from the Italian pedimont and the hazelnuts from Turkey.
